The wine has a fine magenta colour with a purple rim, classic Central Otago aromas of ripe black cherry and plum with a rich palate. Medium weight entry and elegant attack with fine tannins and persistent after taste. Will cellar for 6 - 8 years.

AROMAS | Ripe black cherry, rich raisins, peel, spices, thyme and herbs notes evolve. Evolves savoury and cedary oak characters in the glass.
TASTE | Sweet cherry and plum notes carry through from the bouquet.
TEXTURE | Medium weight entry, elegant attack based on fine grained tannins. Succulent fruit, with a rounded mouthfeel that leads into good length in the finish with a persistent after taste. In all this is a very pleasing wine, probably our best in 3 vintages to date.
DRINKING | Drinking well already, will continue to develop and reward cellaring for 6 to 8 years (to 2018)
