The wine has a fine magenta colour with a purple rim, classic Central Otago aromas of black cherries, with plums, spicy and savoury notes with a rich palate. Fine tannins and length of after taste. Will cellar up to 6 years.

AROMAS |  Ripe black cherry, rich raisins, peel, spices, thyme and herbs notes evolve. Evolves savoury and cedary oak characters in the glass.

TASTE |  Sweet cherry and plum notes carry through from the bouquet.

TEXTURE |  Medium weight entry, elegant attack based on fine grained tannins. Succulent fruit, with a rounded mouthfeel that leads into a long finish. In all a very pleasing wine.

DRINKING |  Drinking well already, will continue to develop and reward cellaring for the next 4 to 6 years (to 2015)
