36 Bottles Pinot Gris 2008                                        Central Otago                        MED/DRY $25 -V       (3 Stars)

From Mt Aspiring Wines, the 2008 vintage (***) was grown in the Cromwell Basin and made in a medium-dry style.  Fresh pear and spice aromas lead into a mouthfilling, vibrantly fruity, easy drinking wine with good depth and a smooth finish.

36 Bottles Pinot Noir 2008                                        Central Otago                        DRY $35 -V       (3 Stars)

Grown at Bendigo and oak aged for 9 months, the 2008 vintage (***) is a supple mid-weight, ruby-hued, with ripe-fruit characters, decent depth of cherry and spice flavours and some savoury touches adding complexity.  It's already enjoyable.
